No. 55 NAPA AUTO PARTS Team Ends Season with 38th-Place Finish November 16, 2008 – The season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway did not go as planned for driver Michael Waltrip and the NAPA Racing team. The team opted to put the exact same set-up as pole sitter and teammate David Reutimann had under the hood of the No. 55 machine. In 2008, NAPA will continue its long tradition of primary sponsorship in NASCAR, sponsoring Michael Waltrip Racing and the #55 NAPA Toyota Camry. NAPA shares Toyota’s enthusiasm for motor sports, and through its sponsorship support looks for a new, exciting 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. Equally impressive is Raceworld USA in Cornelius, N.C., which is open to race fans throughout the year. The facility consists of a skywalk system constructed throughout the building from which fans can view the inner workings of a race shop. NAPA remains a dominant player in the elite NASCAR Sprint Cup series through team sponsorships, media buys and promotions carrying the NAPA name, brand and message to millions of brand-loyal fans throughout the entire season.
