April 05, 2009 - Sunday night’s encounter was NAPA’s second Title Night of the MLS Season, and Chivas USA and their fans did not disappoint us.
The game at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California drove a total of 12,827 fans to see Chivas USA beat the defending MLS Champions Columbus Crew 2-1.
Fans lined up at the NAPA Fan Zone for a chance to win NAPA Fútbol merchandise, including t-shirts, soccer balls and caps or to have their photo taken with Las Chicas NAPA. A lucky NAPA customer received the honor of making the ceremonial “first kick” and Las Chicas NAPA stirred the fans during halftime as they circled the field tossing NAPA Fútbol t-shirts into the crowd.
With this great victory, Chivas USA stays unbeaten with 3 wins in a row to enjoy the best season start in club history. NAPA congratulates Chivas USA on a great start to the season. NAPA is proud to be a sponsor and partner.
