17, 615 anxious fans filled the Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City on Saturday, September 12, 2009 for NAPA’s tenth Title Night of the season!

The festivities began at the NAPA Fan Zone three hours prior to the coin toss. Fans participated in different contests to win NAPA Fútbol merchandise, such as t-shirts, soccer balls, thunder sticks, and caps. Fans also had the opportunity to have their picture taken with Las Chicas NAPA. The place was full of excitement!

Inside the stadium fans began cheering on their team, where they even began a huge wave around the arena that had the entire crowd standing. Minutes before the teams took the field, Las Chicas NAPA made their way around the stadium tossing NAPA t-shirts, thundersticks, caps, and even soccerballs to the fans. Now everyone was ready!

Victor Galindo, owner of Victor’s Tires in Salt Lake City, and Tim Wetterhus, NAPA’s District Manager, held the honor of participating in the coin toss, awarding Real Salt Lake the first kick!

Despite Chicago Fire’s on the road winning record, Real Salt Lake’s Jamison Olave saved the game by scoring a goal during the 72nd minute of the game, tying the game for a final score of 1-1!

It was an amazing turnout and NAPA is very proud of being a sponsor, partner, and fan of Major League Soccer!

El 12 de septiembre, 17,615 ansiosos fanáticos llenaron el estadio del Rio Tinto en la cuidad de Salt Lake para presenciar  la décima “Noche NAPA” de la temporada durante el partido del Real Salt Lake vs. Chicago Fire.

Las festividades empezaron en el NAPA Fan Zone tres horas antes de la ceremonia del tiro de la moneda para seleccionar al equipo que iniciaria el partido.  Los fanáticos participaron en diversos concursos para ganar artículos de Fútbol y la oportunidad de fotografiarse con las Chicas NAPA.

NAPA tuvo una gran participación durante la noche empezando con el sorteo para seleccionar al equipo que iniciaría el partido, como también durante los eventos de medio tiempo.   El Señor Victor Galindo, propietario de Victor’s Tires en la ciudad y el Señor Tim Wetterhus del Centro de Distibución NAPA de Salt Lake fueron los representantes NAPA de la noche.  Ambos tuvieron la oportunidad de fotografiarse con los capitanes de ambos equipos. 

A pesar del imbatible record de los Chicago Fires, Jamison Olave del RSL salvó el partido anotando en el minuto 72 el empate para obtener el resultado final de 1-1.
