The MLS Cup Championship was brought to one of the most passionate soccer regions in the country, Seattle at Qwest Field Stadium, the eighth stadium to hold the title of host to the MLS Championship.

It was the second MLS Cup ever to be decided on by penalty kicks, won by the Real Salt Lake Team, an event that brought 46,011 fans from all over the country to witness LA Galaxy from the Western Confederation as the first team to reach MLS Cup six times vs. Real Salt Lake from the Eastern Confederation the fourth team in MLS Cup history to come into the league with a regular season record.

The Soccer Celebration took place prior to the match where every fan was invited to a free, fun, interactive, and soccer-themed entertainment area. Fans could get autographs from MLS players, have their photo taken with the Philip F. Anschutz championship trophy, and play other soccer-themed games.

As pre-game music entertainment, all of the guests enjoyed a free performance by Third Eye Blind outside of Qwest Field with concert footage aired on ESPN’s halftime show as part of the Soccer Celebration.

La Copa MLS fue llevada a una de las regiones del país mas apasionadas por el Fútbol, Seattle y el Estadio Quest Field reconocido como el octavo estadio anfitrión del Campeonato MLS.

Esta fue la segunda Copa MLS que termina a penales en donde el Real Salt Lake fue el equipo triunfador. El evento atrajo 46,011 fanáticos de toda la nación a presenciar al LA Galaxy de la Confederación Occidental, primer equipo que llega por sexta vez a la Copa MLS (por sexta vez) enfrentándose al Real Salt Lake de la Confederación del Este, el cuarto equipo en la historia de la Copa MLS que llega con un record regular durante la temporada.

La Celebración de la final de la copa MLS se llevo a cabo horas antes del partido donde todos los simpatizantes fueron invitados a disfrutar de juegos interactivos, donde muchos tuvieron la oportunidad de ganar premios, fotografiarse con jugadores de LA MLS y la Copa MLS Phillip F. Anschutz.

También como entretenimiento musical los fanáticos disfrutaron de la presentación de la banda Third Eye Blind completamente gratis (de la banda Third Eye Blind quienes tocaron A LAS afueras del estadio y (que) luego dicho show fue transmitido por ESPN durante el (el) medio tiempo.
