MARTIN TRUEX JR. ON JOPLIN RELIEF PROJECT: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Joplin, Mo. To see the aftermath of the tornado is just devastating. It breaks my heart to see what happened and what all those folks are going through to just to get back on their feet. I encourage fans attending this weekend's race at Kansas Speedway to please stop by and help out. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated."
MICHAEL WALTRIP ON JOPLIN RELIEF PROJECT: : "We're racing in the area this weekend at Kansas Speedway and we just wanted to do something that gives back to this community and the people that mean so much to MWR, NASCAR and our partners. I also want to show the world that NASCAR has the best fans and I want everyone to come out and support our friends and neighbors in Joplin by bringing stuff they really need right now. I hope everyone in the area will come out to the Aaron's store in Shawnee and the Bass Pro Shops in Olathe. We'll have some fun while we collect items the people in Joplin really need. If you bring it, my guys will drive it to Joplin."
